Dead & Co Stream Mixlr: A Review of Energy Demands and its Implication on Climate Change in Africa

In a groundbreaking research paper, our team has shed light on the vulnerabilities of the African energy sector to climate change. This collaborative effort highlights the urgent need for adaptive and mitigative strategies to secure sustainable energy futures.

The study, published in the Journal of Engineering Research and Reports, explores the critical intersection of energy utilization and climate change impacts across the African continent. It proposes actionable recommendations for energy transition tailored to various African countries.

We are thrilled to announce the publication of our research on 'A Review of Energy Demands and its Implication on Climate Change in Africa'. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our mentor, Pastor Ayodeji Oguntuyi, and SPE NIGERIA COUNCIL, SPE Warri Nigeria Section, Olalekan OLAFUYI (Professor), Oghogho Effiom, Magdalene Umoh, and many others who played important roles in this success story.

At the recent conference, we had the opportunity to engage with virtual-distant mentors and industry experts like Joy Eze, Birol Dindoruk, Lee Richards, Burke Wadsworth, Cassandra Dewan, Ebun Adewole-Dickson, Abdallah El Badaoui, Chinedu Nwosu, Karo Osogba, Karen Ochie, David Nnamdi, Felipe Adrião Cruz, and many more. It was fascinating to share ideas and learn from their experiences.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our teammates Emmanuel Okpu, Rita Omeke, Shuaib Samuel Oluwasegun, Glory Etchie, and coordinators James Whitaker, Yuen-Yee P., Chimere Alim, AUGUSTINA OVUEMA, Wilfred Okologume for their immense support.

In a remarkable turn of events, we were granted our visas just days before the conference against all odds. We would like to attribute this miracle to God's word and the encouragement from our Pastor.

As the team captain, I led my team to the international Petrobowl 2022 finals. Our journey to the competition was not without its challenges. We were first denied on our first visa interview, but we persisted and were eventually granted visas.

It is a rare privilege to be part of the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition #ATCE 2022 in Houston, Texas, USA and participate in the 20th Petrobowl International competition. Our team qualified to represent the SPE Africa region after emerging winner of the Nigerian Petroquiz competition (for the first time in the history of SPE Warri Nigeria Section and FUPRE).

In this article, we will delve deeper into our research and explore the implications of energy demands on climate change in Africa.
